(PresidentialHill.com)- After House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released footage of the January 6th riots to Fox News, Tucker Carlson released some of it which paint a different picture than what was reported for the last two years. Footage showed the “QAnon shaman” being escorted through the Capitol by police.

The footage created a frenzy among Democrats, especially Senator Chuck Schumer, who went on the Senate floor to condemn the videos as manipulative, as reported by The Post Millennial. He said that the thousands of hours of surveillance videos were selective and disregarded facts and the risks associated with not calling the riot a “violent insurrection.”
After his comments, Schumer was invited to go on the Tucker Carlson Tonight show. Schumer allegedly agreed but took to Twitter to state that he would only do it if Carlson admitted that the 2020 election was not stolen, and January 6th was an insurrection.

Schumer also repeated the now-debunked claim that Officer Brian Sicknick was killed that day. However, Sicknick’s death was attributed to a “medical condition alone…not brought on by an injury,” according to American Pigeon, citing D.C. medical examiner’s office.
Schumer then reportedly called for the censorship of the story by asking Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Fox News, to take down Carlson’s show.
Critics of the senator immediately called him out on Twitter, asking how Carlson was lying about the footage if the footage itself was explicitly countering Schumer’s previous claims about that day.
Murdoch has not responded to Schumer’s demands as the network dominates the others.
Fox News is currently doing better than CNN and MSNBC on nearly every metric with daily averages, according to Mediaite. It enjoys 1.67 million viewers, compared to CNN’s 497,000 and MSNBC’s 873,000. Viewers in the key demographic are at 212,000 for Fox, 94,000 for CNN, and 104,000 for MSNBC.
