(PresidentialHill.com)- After it was reported earlier this month that President Biden’s lawyers had discovered classified documents in his Wilmington garage in December, eagle-eyed Twitter users found a Biden campaign video from August 2020 showing Biden backing his Corvette into the garage that had boxes piled against the wall in the background.

While it isn’t clear whether the boxes seen in the video are the ones that contained classified documents, it does call into question Biden’s defense that the documents were safely locked in his garage with his Corvette.

On Thursday, January 12, press secretary Karine Jean Pierre repeatedly assured reporters that the search for classified documents was complete and the only documents found were the ones found on November 2 at the Penn Biden Center in Washington and the ones found on December 20 in the president’s garage.
Only, Jean-Pierre spoke too soon.
A short time later, the White House confirmed that a third set of classified documents were found in the president’s personal library in Wilmington.
After this discovery, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the same day that he was appointed a special counsel to investigate the matter.
Garland announced that Robert Hur, the former Trump-appointed US Attorney in Maryland, will take over US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who had previously been assigned by the DOJ to investigate the classified documents found.
Then over the weekend, Fox News reported that the Justice Department had conducted a search of Biden’s Wilmington home on Friday during which even more classified documents were found.
Joseph Fitzpatrick, an Assistant US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, told Fox that the FBI conducted a “consensual search” of Biden’s Wilmington home from 9:45 am until 10:30 pm on Friday, January 20.
The documents retrieved included classified records dating from Joe Biden’s time in the Senate as well as records from his time as vice president.
