(PresidentialHill.com)- Jesse Kelly, a conservative radio presenter and Fox News contributor said there is something familiar about how Joe Biden walks.
Kelly said on Twitter, “I love how the whole nation is supposed to pretend that way Biden walks isn’t at all a significant problem. Those in the know are aware of that gait.”
Following the State of the Union, President Joe Biden’s stroll was closely watched and scrutinized on social media. Kelly, who shared a C-SPAN video of Biden leaving the U.S. Capitol after the speech on Tuesday, said that his walk indicated deteriorating health.
Last October, comedian Joe Rogan entered the debate by asserting on his podcast that there was “obvious proof of cognitive decline” if you spoke with anybody who cared for dementia patients and showed them how he was before and is now.
Other social media users mentioned Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and other brain illnesses, while Kelly left his message open-ended.
One could call this “Gaitgate.”
The president’s period in office has been marked by speculation about his health, notably from political rivals. He turned 80 in November and is known for making mistakes with his words.
The president and first wife can be seen in the 22-second footage leaving the Capitol before getting in the backseat of his vehicle.
Right-wing activist Ali Alexander commented, “Notice Biden’s walk?” “Biden’s particular gait indicates a condition. Short, stiff steps. Unable to bend his knees to get into the car.” In 2020, Alexander said, he made a documentary highlighting the president’s “Parkinsonian walk,” in which he forewarned the public about his deteriorating health.
Defenders of Biden responded by recalling the clip of former President Donald Trump stumbling down a ramp at West Point in June 2020, just a few days before his 74th birthday.
Trump defended himself on social media, writing: “The ramp that I descended was very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery.”
The last thing I was going to do is ‘fall’ for the Fake News to have fun with. Final ten feet I ran down to level ground. Momentum!” he declared.
Trump is inarguably in better athletic shape than Biden.
