Trump Aide Calls In Lawyers Amid Child Abuse Allegations

( Former Trump official Stephen Miller’s America First Legal has filed a state lawsuit against Loudoun County Public Schools, members of the school board, Superintendent Scott Ziegler, and several other officials on behalf of a group of parents with children in the district.

The lawsuit alleges that the Loudoun County School District is violating the rights of parents to control how their children are brought up and forcing parents to relinquish their child’s right to a public education if the parents object to “psychologically abusing and sexually exploiting the children entrusted in their care.”

The lawsuit seeks at least $1.5 million in damages for what Miller claims is the district’s attempt at forcing race, sexual, and gender ideology on students, including transgendered bathrooms, sexually explicit materials, and facilitating “gender transitions” without parental notification.

According to the complaint, multiple plaintiffs have removed their children from Loudoun County Schools to prevent indoctrination and allow them “better learning opportunities.” If the district refuses to back off its indoctrination, it must allow parents to use taxpayer money to send their children to the school of their choice.

The lawsuit cites a recent dissent written by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor in the ruling upholding a high school football coach’s right to pray on the field after games. In her dissent, Sotomayor described schools as having “great coercive power over children” because children are “uniquely susceptible” and “particularly vulnerable.”

The lawsuit accuses Loudoun County Schools of circumventing parental rights, including providing “psychological and psychiatric counseling or treatment” for gender-confused children and addressing their children by different names and pronouns without parental consent.

Miller, a former Trump White House advisor on immigration, established the conservative legal group last year. Its board of directors includes several former senior Trump officials. It has brought lawsuits against the Biden administration and state governments, primarily focusing on immigration and race-based discrimination.

This year, America First Legal won a majority victory when a district court barred the Biden administration from releasing COVID-positive illegals into the United States.
