Chee wore a stylish white cutout dress to the star-studded event, while Maguire wore nothing but white. This was the scene that started all the talk. Pictures of them went viral, sparking comments and criticisms about how much of a generation gap there was. Even on X, one user noted that when the first Spider-Man film was released, Chee wasn’t even born.
Jennifer Meyer, Maguire’s ex-wife, is attempting to set the record straight while rumors circulate online about a possible romance between the two.
As Meyer put it, she makes it a habit not to respond to online nonsense but wanted to clarify that he was simply helping a friend out to her car and being a good guy.
