The White House Forgot To Talk About Saudia Arabia’s LGBTQ Hatred While Pushing For “Equity”

(PresidentialHill.com)- White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced the Biden Administration’s global effort to advance equality to the LGBTQIA+ community, while forgetting to mention Saudi Arabia’s anti-LGBTQIA+ agenda.

Jean-Pierre addressed President Biden’s executive order banning “conversion therapy” for those suffering from gender dysphoria as well as a slew of other global initiatives in the fight for equality, according to Post Millennial.

But the administration repackaged the meaning of conversion therapy. Where it once meant trying to convert an individual from homosexual to heterosexual, it now means to convert one from their perceived gender to their actual gender. Banning conversion therapy therefore means that it would be illegal to affirm that a male is not a female, nor a female a male.

The Biden Administration made clear their politically expedient stance on identity politics when appointing Rachel Levine as Assistant Secretary of the Health and Human Services (HHS) because he identifies as a woman.

During the conference on globally combatting LGBTQI+ persecution, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre what the administration’s position was regarding Saudi officials “seizing rainbow-colored toys and clothing as a part of an apparent crackdown on homosexuality…”

Pierre claimed that she had not seen that reporting but stated the White House supports “civil society and providing LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities with tools and resources to prevent, mitigate, and recover from violence, discrimination, and stigma.”

Talk about the ole’ reliable reading-from-the-script-because-I’m-unprepared-to-answer-this-question pivot. At least Jen circled back. Miss her yet?

The White House’s silence on Saudi Arabia’s persecution of the LGBTQIA+ community comes as he is scheduled to visit the country next month. As the president seeks to make the move away from burning fossil fuels and creating extra hurdles for the domestically produced oil, he looks to other oil-rich countries, like Saudi Arabia, to reportedly import more oil into the U.S. as both gas prices and inflation continue to inch ever higher.

Biden blames the increase in gas and prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin, but prices have been rising for the last year before Putin’s invasion of Ukrainian.

President Biden’s term has gotten off to a rocky start, but it is threatening to end in a disaster as his own party begins to desert him. As Jean-Pierre recently confirmed Biden’s re-election bid, Democrats have been reluctant to offer their endorsement, with even CNN admitting that the president’s health is concerning.
