(PresidentialHill.com)- A spokesperson for Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis mocked critics of a piece of statewide legislation that protects children from being taught inappropriate sexual topics, slamming them for failing to understand the words of the text and suggesting they are “probably” pedophiles.
The legislation is wrongly labeled the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by Democrats, claiming that it bans teachers from telling children that gay people exist. But that’s not what the law says.
Despite that, Florida Senate Democrats recently gathered with signs, walking through corridors and chanting the words “gay! gay! gay!”…even though nobody told them they can’t say gay.

What, exactly, are they fighting?
Christina Pushaw, a popular online commentator and the official spokesperson for Governor DeSantis, noted that the bill would be “more accurately described as an Anti-Grooming Bill.”
“If you’re against the Anti-Grooming Bill, you are probably a groomer or at least you don’t denounce the grooming of 4-8-year-old children,” she said.
“Silence is complicity. This is how it works, Democrats, and I didn’t make the rules,” she added.
The bill instructs teachers not to teach children in kindergarten through grade 3 about sexual orientation or so-called “gender identity” in a manner that is not “age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

It means that far-left teachers cannot teach children that there are more than two genders, or teach them anything sexual…at all.
Pushaw faced intense backlash from extremist Democrats for her comments, but none have provided evidence that what she said is wrong.
The Florida House of Representatives passed the legislation on February 24 and it is expected to be voted on in the House Senate on Monday.
Is it any wonder so many sane people are fleeing Democrat-run states for Florida?
