Mike Pence Ashamed After Classified Documents Found

(PresidentialHill.com)- According to a report, former vice president Mike Pence claimed full responsibility for having classified documents at his residence.

Pence stated that possessing the top-secret documents in his home was inappropriate. During an event at Florida International University as part of a tour promoting his book, “So Help Me God,” Pence claimed mistakes were made, and he takes full responsibility. He had instructed his attorney to fully cooperate with any investigation by working with the National Archives, the Department of Justice, and Congress.

Reports show following numerous incidents of classified documents being discovered at the Penn Biden Center and President Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home, Pence informed Congress that he had a similar problem at his Indiana home.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) asked all former presidents and vice presidents to check for classified material in response to the discoveries.

According to a report, staff members of former Presidents and vice presidents who are still alive have been asked by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in a letter to ensure they don’t have any classified documents in their possession.

According to the letter, the responsibility to comply with the PRA does not diminish after the end of an administration. Collections of materials previously thought to be personal might contain Presidential or Vice Presidential records subject to the PRA, whether classified or unclassified.

Reports show that in January, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Robert Hur as a special counsel to look into the Biden case, and in November, he chose Jack Smith to look into claims that former President Donald Trump had retained classified information.

On August 8, FBI agents searched Trump’s Florida estate Mar-a-Lago amid claims that alleged classified documents had been taken from the White House, despite the president’s claims to the contrary.

Former Vice President Pence was not asked why he didn’t check for classified documents at his properties while Former President Trump was being raided at his Mar a Lago estate, nor did he come forth with information.
