Karl Rove Explains Reasoning Behind Nancy Pelosi’s Big Prediction

(PresidentialHill.com)- Karl Rove claims that Pelosi resembles a shadowy version of the woman who originally held the Speaker’s gavel 15 years ago.

On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently asserted that Democrats would keep the House by winning more seats.

In a Fox News article, Rove questioned Pelosi’s statement. He explained there have only been two occasions since political scientists refer to the Second American Party System was established between 1818 and 1824 when the party in power won seats in the House: in 1934 and in 2002.

President Joe Biden is here today, with just 27% of Americans believing the nation is moving in the right way. Inflation is at a 40-year high, with 82% of Americans stating the economy is “barely fair” or “bad.” There is a border crisis, increased crime, and lawlessness. Biden frequently comes across as lost and bewildered.

Rove wondered what was wrong with Nancy Pelosi. Was she misinformed, or was her advanced age a factor at work? The 82-year-old Pelosi couldn’t be so naive as to believe that they would keep the House in November with only five seats separating Democrats from minority status.

Rove’s guess is Pelosi said what she said to prevent the ground from giving way. She wants Democrat contributors to continue their support. She knew the audience and the show host was a group of clapping seals. She tried to come off as confident to Colbert. She hoped to keep the money coming in, the get-out-the-vote campaigns running, and the candidates moving forward.
If that happens, maybe a few more Democrats could win who would have lost otherwise, and the Republican House majority would be slightly smaller than it would have been. The Democrats could just say, “It could’ve been worse.”
Karl Rove remarked that Pelosi appeared to be a pallid replica of the Nancy Pelosi who held the speaker’s gavel for the first time 15 years ago. She’s expected to leave office quickly after November, retiring from Congress to give her party a chance to try a reset under new leadership. Rove believes Pelosi’s appearance was her final one on a late-night talk show, whether she knew it or not.
Vote in person, people.
