(PresidentialHill.com)- Vice President Kamala Harris, who is supposed to be the administration’s “migration czar,” has been conspicuously missing from public conversations about the present immigration issue, which she is responsible for resolving.
After being named in March 2021 as the brains who would get to the root causes of the border crisis, Harris had many months to, at the very least, visit the border, much less begin a serious examination. During a trip to Guatemala in June last year, Harris displayed her heavy-lifting and simply said to potential migrants, “do not come.”
This magnificence will go down in the annals of history alongside other famous lines, like:
- “Just say no.”
- “I’m in no ways tired.”
- “We must pass the bill to see what’s in it.”
- “Please clap.”
With over a year in the Biden administration handed her role to control the border, Kamala Harris’s responsibilities appear to have been ignored.
Harris herself has jumped the Mexican border and gone right to northern Central America.
Vice President Kamala Harris pledged more than $1.9 billion in new private-sector commitments to expand economic opportunity in northern Central America. This announcement more than doubles the size of the initial private sector contributions. The Vice President announced the Call to Action for corporations and social enterprises to make significant commitments to enhance economic opportunities for people in the region as part of her role in tackling the underlying causes of migration from Central America. The Vice President unveiled the U.S. Strategy to Address the Root Causes of Migration in July 2021, which is in favor of it.
The root cause is money?
Wouldn’t that mean the migrants coming here illegally are economic refugees?
A person who flees their own country for employment opportunities and better economic prospects in another nation is referred to as an economic refugee. Economic refugees frequently do not have refugee status, which is only granted to people trying to flee violence or hostilities. This is something we’ve been told the border jumpers are doing.
We had no idea when Kamala said, “don’t come,” she meant, “don’t bother to come here. We’ll send the money to you over there.
Harris is another Democrat who thinks a crisis is solved by spending other people’s money.
