Theroux said, however, that the naked flying story is not without a source. He described a conversation with his friend, fellow actor Jason Bateman, who questioned him about why he sleeps naked on planes. Theroux asked his friend to elaborate, and Bateman explained that he came by to say goodnight to him on a flight to London and found him naked under a blanket. Mr. Theroux clarified that he was not nude; he was wearing boxer shorts. He explained that such instances often lead to silly rumors, which he usually doesn’t bother to correct because “it’s funny.”
The actor recently made somewhat different headlines when he weighed in on a row between his ex-wife and Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance. He told reporters he absolutely backed Jennifer Aniston’s side of the argument, adding that he is still very protective of her. “She batted back criticism, as well she should,” he stated.
