(PresidentialHill.com)- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) was able to raise money on Tuesday after the White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s reported departure to MSNBC.
An email blast was sent out with the subject line – “BREAKING: Jen Psaki plans to leave the White House for MSNBC.”
The fundraising email reminded recipients that Psaki worked tirelessly to explain President Biden’s HISTORIC Build Back Better agenda to the American people. (There was no mention that Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill failed to pass in Congress in 2021, blocked by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) dissent.)
The email message was bold, declaring that she’s planning to join MSNBC’s intrepid team of journalists to hold dangerous, far-right Republicans accountable.
Readers were asked if they would watch Jen Psaki on MSNBC.
Then the other shoe dropped – the email unabashedly asked for five bucks… or more.
On Friday, Psaki refused to confirm reports that she will soon start working for MSNBC, a far-left entertainment network, stonewalling like she frequently does as White House press secretary.
Psaki said at a presser that she has nothing to say about her time as a public servant or anything about her future.
Reporters held Psaki’s feet to the fire about whether it was defensible for a press secretary to be negotiating a contract with a media group while also fielding questions from the same organization. It’s a significant conflict of interest.
Psaki didn’t see it that way, audaciously claiming that at the White House, she’s received rigorous ethics counseling.
From who? Biden?
She represents a White House whose President is called “the big guy” in emails that detail payoffs for influence-peddling by foreign nationals.
According to the fact-checked, authentic emails, the “big guy” gets his cut.
Psaki used to be a CNN commentator. According to reports, she will anchor her own show on MSNBC.
Without Donald Trump in the oval office, both networks have suffered. According to estimates, CNN’s viewership has dropped by 78 percent, to below 500,000 people.
Trump Derangement Syndrome was good for the progressive network’s bottom line.
