Iran Threatens America Over Israel-Hamas War

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, directly warned the United States and Israel about the Israel-Hamas conflict during his Sunday remarks to Al Jazeera in Qatar. He stated, “If the scope of the war expands, heavy losses will befall America as well.”

Additionally, Amirabdollahian cautioned Israel against an invasion of Gaza to eliminate Hamas, warning that “the resistance leaders will turn Israel into a cemetery for occupation soldiers.” These threats from Amirabdollahian followed his previous statement on Saturday, where he warned that Israel could face a “huge earthquake” if it entered Gaza.

The scope of the war cannot be stopped if Israel and America do not control their actions. Amirabdollahian said in Lebanon that he learned from Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah [the leader of Hezbollah] that all scenarios were on the table.’ Amirabdollahian stressed, ‘ The continued absence of a political solution and aggression add fuel to the fire, and things may escalate into a more severe conflict. The actors and their regions will not remain on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Antony Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State, visited U.S. allies in the Middle East. During his tour, Amirabdollahian visited Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Qatar, holding meetings with government officials and leaders of the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

During Amirabdollahian’s meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, he expressed deep concern about the ongoing violence in Gaza, stating, “We are facing the killing of Palestinians in Gaza daily.

The ongoing loss of Palestinian lives at the hands of the Israeli authorities, with hundreds affected each day, is unacceptable. These actions, which include war crimes, the blockade imposed on Gaza’s residents, and the disruption of vital supplies such as water, food, and medicines, must come to an immediate halt.

In a release by the Iranian Foreign Ministry on his meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Amirabdollahian praised Hamas’s actions and warned of potential Iranian intervention.

He said, “The Al-Aqsa operation was the Palestinian nation’s natural reaction to the provocative moves and relentless crimes by the Netanyahu extremist government, especially repeated acts of aggression by Zionists against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

He reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its determination to address Israeli war crimes if they continue in Gaza.
