(PresidentialHill.com)- David Weiss, a 20-year federal prosecutor, will have to decide if there is enough evidence to pursue a federal grand jury indictment against Hunter Biden in a probe that might include other members of the Biden family, including Joe Biden’s brother James Biden, and perhaps the president himself.
Weiss has been the United States Attorney for the District of Delaware since Donald Trump nominated him in 2018. Weiss was the acting director of the office before being appointed, and he garnered support from Democrat Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons from Delaware. Former assistant U.S. Attorney of Delaware Robert Kravetz told CBS News that David Weiss is a diligent professional prosecutor and a leader who cares about the people who work under him.
President Biden’s son Hunter is being investigated by the FBI for tax fraud, money laundering, and violating lobbying regulations, according to media sources. Joe Biden has boldly stated that he is unaware of his family’s corrupt financial activities on several occasions. However, text messages, images, and reported meetings indicate that President Biden is well-versed in the Biden family’s complex schemes. In a six-year period, Joe Biden was involved in the Biden family business on at least 11 occasions while he was serving at the highest levels of US government.
Hunter Biden exposed his father’s family payout mechanism in a text message to his daughter in 2019. Hunter complained, “I hope you all can do what I do and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years.” He told his daughter that it is a hard task, but he wouldn’t make her give him half her salary as her grandfather, Joe Biden, did.
Despite the fact that David Weiss has prosecuted cases involving corruption, money laundering, and wire fraud, President Biden has decided to keep him on the case. Biden must realize that dismissing Weiss for political reasons would raise red flags.
