Hollywood Star Tried To Take His Own Life After MeToo Movement

(PresidentialHill.com)- Disgraced actor Armie Hammer says that he was molested when he was 13 years old. The claim seems to have been made to mitigate his charges of inappropriate advances. He says the youthful incidents have caused his odd tendencies, including BDSM and purported cannibalism.

He defended himself against claims that he had abused people without their consent.

In his first interview, since the scandalous allegations against him surfaced two years ago, Hammer addressed the #MeToo crisis and revealed that he had attempted suicide out of despair.

Hammer said he lost between $14 million and $16 million in 2021 alone due to legal costs and lost acting gigs. He said, “My financial situation is that I am not just poor but also heavily in debt.”

The Lone Ranger actor discussed the controversy and his recovery with the website Air Mail. He said that in early 2021 while hiding away in the Cayman Islands, he attempted to take his own life.

Hammer said that despite coming from a wealthy family whose income originated from Occidental Petroleum, he is now bankrupt.

The suicide attempt was described as simply stepping out into the water, swimming as far as he could, and praying to die, be struck by a boat, or get devoured by a shark.

“Then I understood that I couldn’t do it to my children since they were still on land,” he said.

Hammer said that while he “did acquire a loan from my family to pay for certain legal bills,” he has neither requested nor received any more financial assistance from them. There was a time throughout this when he needed a friend to assist him with grocery shopping.

Hammer said that a youth pastor at his family’s church abused him when he was 13 years old. He said the abuse went on for about a year. Since he had no control over the circumstances and lacked any power, his interests changed to wanting to dominate any intimate scenarios.

Hammer said that at the time, he only notified his godmother, Candace Garvey, and an older acquaintance (who has since passed away) about the assault. Garvey reportedly backed up his account, according to Air Mail.
