(PresidentialHill.com)- In a show that will only be watched by college-aged girls who nod their heads whenever they hear something that makes them think, “yas queen slay,” former Secretary of State and twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton stepped forward about her relationship with Bill Clinton.
In an interview part of the teaser for the new show “Gutsy,” on which both Hillary and her daughter Chelsea serve as executive producers, Clinton was reportedly asked about her marriage.
“You have a marriage that has been on public display since the beginning,” said the Rev. Whittney Ijanaten, a chaplain at UCLA Health who officiates LGBTQ marriages. “You said the gutsiest thing you ever did was stay in your marriage.”
“That doesn’t mean that’s right for everybody,” Clinton said.
The show airs on September 9 on Apple’s TV+, featuring a wide array of female celebrities. The trailer focuses on the women talking about a host of issues where they center themselves as marginalized people based on their religion, race, or sex. In what appeared to be a huge stroking of the ego, the characters just riff off of each other about how marginalized they are and the struggles they have been through as successful, very rich women.
At one point, one says that she’s “in deep Georgia and they might have never met a Muslim.”
“Or they don’t know they have,” responded Clinton.
Another scene features a woman saying, “someone says to me you’re not good enough because you have melanin—how dare you,” as she is speaking to the former secretary of state.
“I have a master’s in whites,” another old black woman says. “I just want whites to get a GED in blacks.”
What does that even mean?
