The announcer, Mark Roe, subsequently made remarks on the visual characteristics of Wood’s eyes. Even in Roe’s casual remark, he seemed to be implying that Woods was likely using a lot of pain medication.
The video was shared and quickly went viral on social media, where it was widely condemned as rude and inconsiderate.
