Elon Musk Takes On Twitter’s Lift-Wing Bias

(PresidentialHill.com)- Following a Rewire News Group journalist’s call for violence against pro-lifers, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted, “Twitter obv has a strong left wing bias.”

Mike Cernovich, a conservative influencer, cited a tweet from Rewire News Group writer Caroline Reilly, who called for greater violence in response to an arson assault on a pro-life organization.

Reilly wrote, “More of this. May these people never know a moment of peace or safety until they rot in the ground.”

Cernovich said in response to Reilly’s tweet that when being lied to about Twitter enforcement rules, maybe the workers could explain why a verified account can advocate terrorism without fear of being removed.

It’s unclear if Twitter took any action against Reilly. An after-hours inquiry for comment from the corporation went unanswered.

Musk stated his opposition to censorship, saying he would instead observe the rules of the nations where Twitter operates.

Musk said that if the public wants something banned, they should pass legislation to ban it. Otherwise, else allow it.

The US Constitution makes inciting violence a felony.

Twitter has been slammed for its apparent leftist slant.

In 2020, Twitter workers and family members gave $193,443 to Biden’s campaign vs. $3,023 to Trump’s.
Twitter has identified, fact-checked, and deleted 64 tweets from then-President Trump and his campaign since his election in 2016. Trump’s tweets regarding mail-in voting, COVID-19, and George Floyd protests got “public interest” notices.

A Twitter staffer, on their last day of work in 2017, canceled Trump’s account. Twitter took down four Trump campaign videos.

Notably, Twitter censored The New York Post’s report regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop just weeks before the 2020 election. Twitter even locked the Post’s account to force the media to erase the story’s tweets. The Trump campaign’s Twitter account was also suspended.

Twitter has also introduced liberal policies, such as banning transgender persons from using particular pronouns. In 2018, the platform stated that “targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender persons” would be considered a hate crime. The Babylon Bee tweeted that Rachel Levine had received their “Man of the Year” award. That violated Twitter’s policy.

Twitter notably barred President Trump after January 6, 2021, permitting dictators and murder suspects.

To dispel the myth that Twitter is anti-conservative, proponents refer to the success conservative and Republican accounts enjoy on the Twitter platform.

Twitter claims that Tweets from accounts on the political right receive greater algorithmic amplification than the political left when evaluated as a group.

Now talk about who gets banned more, the left or right.
