Chris Wallace Has Questions About Clarence Thomas And Joe Biden

(PresidentialHill.com)- Last week, CNN host Chris Wallace interviewed Anita Hill, who again expressed her dissatisfaction with Joe Biden’s supposed apology for her treatment during her testimony in Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearing.

In her interview on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” Hill called Joe Biden’s 2019 apology to her “inadequate.”

Wallace kicked off the segment by playing a 2019 clip of Joe Biden on The View where Joe said was sorry about the way Anita Hill was treated during the Thomas confirmation hearings that he chaired, but he didn’t think he treated Hill badly.

Wallace then asked Hill if she thought Biden’s apology was sincere or did she believe Biden was “just checking a box” because he was running for president.

Hill said she didn’t know if it was sincere or not, but she thought his apology was inadequate. She said of his phone call to her that Biden didn’t “rise to the occasion” by “understanding the depth of harm” the hearing had caused.

She said she expected more from someone who wanted to become president because if Biden wanted to be the leader of the free world, “you’re gonna have all kinds of power to redress concerns that have been lingering.”

Like most of what Joe Biden has said, his claims about Anita Hill don’t match up with the facts.

During his 2019 appearance on The View, Biden told the harpies that he believed Anita Hill’s allegations “from the beginning.”

But according to former Senator Arlen Spector’s 2000 memoir, “Passion for Truth: From Finding JFK’s Single Bullet to Questioning Anita Hill to Impeaching Clinton,” then-Senator Biden, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee admitted to Spector that it was “clear to me from the way she was answering the questions” that Hill “was lying” about a key part of her testimony.

In his interview with Anita Hill, Wallace also gave her more opportunities to attack Justice Thomas. He asked her to give her opinion on Justice Thomas’ role in overturning Roe v. Wade and even asked her to weigh in on Ginny Thomas’ supposed role in trying to “overturn” the 2020 election.
