Chris Brown is facing a $50 million lawsuit brought by four people who say he was responsible for the assault of several men.
At Dickies Arena for his 11:11 concert stop in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 20, Brown allegedly ordered his crew to assault plaintiffs Joseph Lewis, Larry Parker, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, according to court documents.
Live Nation, Brown’s entourage lieutenant Sinko Ceej, Brown, and Yella Beezy are also implicated in the complaint. Following Brown’s command, his men allegedly brutally attacked them, inflicting significant injuries on all of them.
The plaintiffs said that they were asked to a party backstage and were brought there with forty other ladies following the performance. According to them, they were impatiently waiting for Brown to enter the VIP section for almost 30 minutes before giving up. When Brown arrived, Bush bumped fists with Brown as a farewell. Bush reportedly thanked Brown for the concert and got his congratulations before an entourage member yelled out, saying Bush was badmouthing Brown moments before arriving,
The situation escalated quickly, and the annoyed Brown reportedly told his bodyguards to assault Bush physically.
Seven or ten members of Brown’s gang allegedly encircled Bush and began to kick and punch him. He said that a man dubbed Hood Boss, who was associated with Brown’s group hurled a chair in his direction.
Yella Beezy and his associates were allegedly dispatched by Brown to “f*ck up” Parker, according to the plaintiffs. According to their claims, the guys pursued Parker until he reached a stairway that led nowhere. When he tried to escape, he was confronted with a closed door and pummeled. Brown allegedly told all his goons to join the battle, and he was hit and kicked in the head for over ten minutes.
Each of the four plaintiffs said that they were severely injured and needed medical treatment to varied degrees. Their lawyer, Tony Buzbee, said one of the guys is still in the hospital after being beaten on Brown’s instruction. Their case is ongoing.
Buzbee promised to bring Brown to justice.
The lawsuit also seeks restraining orders against Brown, Beezy, and Sinko Ceej.
