China Claims America Is ‘Real Threat to the World’

( As Russia – an ally of communist China – continues its invasion of Ukraine, the Chinese Communist Party is trying to paint the United States as the “real threat” to the world.

On Saturday, the Chinese embassy in Moscow claimed that the United States is more of a threat to the planet than Russia. The comment was made on the embassy’s Twitter account.

The statement included a graphic that listed the percentage of wars launched between 1945 and 2001, showing that 81% were launched by the United States and 19% by other countries.

“Among the 248 armed conflicts that occurred in 153 regions across the world from 1945 to 2001, 201 were initiated by the US, accounting for 81% of the total number,” the post said.

There are obvious problems with this message, of course. These figures don’t take into account the kind of conflict and the purpose of the conflict. The United States has not initiated wars designed to overthrow legitimate and elected governments who are not causing harm to their people.

Russia, however, has invaded a country with a democratically elected government that did not pose a threat to Russia or to any of its neighbors.

In other posts, the embassy claimed that U.S. President Joe Biden is to blame for the tensions in Ukraine, claiming that the U.S. poured fuel on the flame “while accusing others of not doing their best to put out the fire.”

For context, let’s consider the fact that the Chinese Communist Party currently operates concentration camps in the Xinjiang region, which has seen more than one million Uyghur Muslims forced into slave labor, sexual exploitation, and more.

The United States and the rest of the world don’t need to take any lessons on peace and conflict from one of the biggest human rights abusers on the planet.
