Alex Jones, the creator of InfoWars and a proponent of conspiracy theories, wants Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to run for President in 2024.
Jones suggested Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and former President Donald Trump as prospective contenders for the 2024 presidential election and asked if Greene would be interested in running on either ticket as a vice president, but he immediately focused on Marjorie Taylor Greene 2024.
Jones stated last week in a video shared on Twitter that he thought Greene would poll better and be a stronger candidate than DeSantis and Trump. He asked her if she would accept a VP spot with either one of them or should he go ahead and just endorse her for President.
Greene laughed at the notion, but Jones pressed on.
“I mean it,” he said. He told Greene she was either smarter than them both or equally as clever. And she has the men we require. He suggested she was beloved by everybody and that we need to consider her running for president.
Jones then suggested that Greene run with another woman.
It would blow the left away if we had two women! He said he didn’t give a damn, just give him two patriots. They could get the new world order off his back, stop the drag queen storytime, and stop men from competing in women’s sports. We could control our borders.
In the interview, Greene acknowledged that it’s something she contemplates. Still, she asserted that if she wanted to run as a Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate, she would face more criticism than Donald Trump. She then said she “absolutely would consider” serving as Trump or DeSantis’ running mate in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
Reports show that Jones has previously supported and attacked Trump, and this isn’t the first time he’s advocated for Greene to lead the Republicans in 2024.
He told the congresswoman in February that she would probably be better than Trump. Greene responded in a somewhat evasive manner at the time, stating that she was a “strong supporter” of the former president.
Greene is, in fact, still a supporter of Donald Trump and the America First objective.
